IAST Transliteration

kartṛtvādy-ahaṅkāra-saṅkalpo bandhaḥ ||20||

Translation

Saṅkalpa của ngã chấp (ahaṅkāra)—khởi từ cảm giác “ta là kẻ làm” (kartṛtva) và các thứ tương tự—chính là trói buộc.

Academic Translation

Bondage is the volitional construction (saṅkalpa) of egoity (ahaṅkāra), beginning with the sense of doership (kartṛtva) and the like.
