तिलेषु च यथा तैलं पुष्पे गन्ध इवाश्रितः । पुरुषस्य शरीरेऽस्मिन् स बाह्याभ्यन्तरे तथा ॥३५॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

तिलेषु च यथा तैलम् पुष्पे गन्धः इव आश्रितः । पुरुषस्य शरीरे अस्मिन् सः बाह्य-अभ्यन्तरे तथा ।

IAST Transliteration

tileṣu ca yathā tailaṃ puṣpe gandha ivāśritaḥ | puruṣasya śarīre 'smin sa bāhyābhyantare tathā ||35||

Translation

Như dầu ở trong hạt mè, như hương trú trong hoa; cũng vậy, trong thân này của con người, Cái Ấy (Ngã) hiện diện như thế cả bên ngoài lẫn bên trong.

Academic Translation

As oil (is) in sesame seeds, and as fragrance is lodged in a flower, so in this body of the person, That (Self) is likewise (present) outwardly and inwardly.
