नमस्कृत्य च तोयेशं गोमतीं च सरिद्वराम् । अर्घ्यं दद्याद्विधानेन कृत्वा च करयोः कुशान्
namaskṛtya ca toyeśaṃ gomatīṃ ca saridvarām | arghyaṃ dadyādvidhānena kṛtvā ca karayoḥ kuśān
Sau khi đảnh lễ Đấng Chúa của nước (biển cả) và sông Gomati, bậc tối thắng trong các dòng sông, người ấy nên theo đúng nghi thức dâng arghya, đặt cỏ kuśa vào hai bàn tay.
