तर्पयेच्च पितॄन्देवान्मनुष्यांश्च यथाक्रमम् । तर्पयित्वा हविर्द्रव्यं प्रोक्षयित्वा च भक्तितः

Transliteration

tarpayecca pitṝndevānmanuṣyāṃśca yathākramam | tarpayitvā havirdravyaṃ prokṣayitvā ca bhaktitaḥ

Translation

Nên dâng tārpaṇa (rưới nước cúng) cho tổ tiên, chư thiên và loài người theo đúng thứ tự; sau khi làm họ được thỏa mãn, với lòng sùng kính, hãy rảy nước thanh tịnh lên vật phẩm tế cúng (havis).
