FAQs

Devotional charity (dāna) offered with the intention of pleasing Viṣṇu becomes a direct means to merit and purification.

The broader context is Dvārakā and the Prabhāsa region, where pilgrimage-dharma is taught through concrete acts like dāna.

Giving in charity: footwear, saffron (especially), a blanket, and oil-cooked food—accompanied by the prayer “May Viṣṇu be pleased.”
