tacchrutvā vacanaṃ tasyāḥ pādākrāntyā dharātalāt | ānayāmāsa bhagavāngagāṃ tripathagāṃ śubhām

Nghe lời nàng, Đức Thế Tôn liền dùng bàn chân ấn xuống mặt đất, khiến từ lòng đất vọt lên dòng Gaṅgā cát tường—con sông chảy qua ba cõi.
