पितॄणामक्षया तृप्तिर्जायते द्विजसत्तमाः । अष्टम्यां च चतुर्द्दश्यां स्नात्वा चेन्द्रपदे नरः

Transliteration

pitṝṇāmakṣayā tṛptirjāyate dvijasattamāḥ | aṣṭamyāṃ ca caturddaśyāṃ snātvā cendrapade naraḥ

Translation

Hỡi bậc nhị sinh tối thắng, người nào tắm tại Indrapada vào ngày mồng tám và ngày mười bốn theo lịch trăng sẽ đem lại sự thỏa mãn bất tận cho các Pitṛ (tổ tiên) và đạt địa vị của Indra.
