सूत उवाच । गतं तदा शिवं दृष्ट्वा दग्ध्वा मदनमोजसा । पार्वती तपसा युक्ता स्थिता तत्रैव भामिनी
sūta uvāca | gataṃ tadā śivaṃ dṛṣṭvā dagdhvā madanamojasā | pārvatī tapasā yuktā sthitā tatraiva bhāminī
Sūta nói: “Bấy giờ, thấy Śiva đã rời đi—sau khi thiêu đốt Madana bằng uy lực rực lửa—Pārvatī, người đầy đủ khổ hạnh, vẫn ở nguyên nơi ấy, vững lòng không lay chuyển.”
