देव्या गतं वै स्वपितुर्गृहं तदा विमृश्य सर्वं भगवान्महेशः । दाक्षायणी पित्रवमानिता सती न यास्यतीति स्वपुरं पुनर्जगौ
devyā gataṃ vai svapiturgṛhaṃ tadā vimṛśya sarvaṃ bhagavānmaheśaḥ | dākṣāyaṇī pitravamānitā satī na yāsyatīti svapuraṃ punarjagau
Khi Nữ Thần đã đến nhà phụ thân, Đấng Maheśa chí tôn suy xét mọi điều. Ngài kết luận rằng Dakṣāyaṇī Satī—bị cha sỉ nhục—sẽ không trở lại, nên Ngài lại trở về nơi ở của chính mình.
