अर्वाक्छिलाक्रमणतो निष्ठा स्यात्सप्तमे पदे । इति व्यवस्य प्रददावन्यस्मै तां द्विजः सुताम्
arvākchilākramaṇato niṣṭhā syātsaptame pade | iti vyavasya pradadāvanyasmai tāṃ dvijaḥ sutām
Ông quyết định: “Trước khi nghi lễ bước (saptapadī) được hoàn tất—vì sự ràng buộc được xem là vững chắc ở bước thứ bảy—thì vẫn có thể đổi thay.” Quyết như vậy, vị brāhmaṇa gả con gái cho người khác.
