तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

Vào ngày ấy, mọi sự bố thí, mọi lễ cúng vào lửa (homa), và mọi hành trì tôn giáo đều được xem là có quả báo không cùng. Người ta tin rằng nó dập tắt mọi cảnh nghèo khổ, vì được làm để làm đẹp lòng Bhāskara (Thái Dương).
