इत्येवंविधविप्रत्वमुक्तं श्रृणु युगादयः । नवमी कार्तिके शुक्ला कृतादिः परिकीर्तिता

Transliteration

ityevaṃvidhavipratvamuktaṃ śrṛṇu yugādayaḥ | navamī kārtike śuklā kṛtādiḥ parikīrtitā

Translation

Như vậy, phẩm chất ưu việt của bậc Brāhmaṇa như thế đã được trình bày. Nay hãy nghe về Yugādi (những khởi đầu của thời đại): ngày mồng chín sáng (śukla) trong tháng Kārttika được tuyên xưng là khởi đầu của Kṛta Yuga.
