तथा यस्तामसो नाम नरकं प्रतिपद्यते । भुक्त्वा बह्वीर्यातनाश्च स्थावरत्वं प्रपद्यते
tathā yastāmaso nāma narakaṃ pratipadyate | bhuktvā bahvīryātanāśca sthāvaratvaṃ prapadyate
Cũng vậy, người được gọi là tāmasa thì đi vào địa ngục. Sau khi chịu vô số hình phạt, người ấy đạt đến thân phận bất động (như cây cỏ hay dạng đứng yên khác).
