Transliteration

asatyasaṃdho nidrālurdātāyaṃ tāmaso'dhamaḥ | triśuklaḥ kṛśavṛttiśca ghṛṇāluḥ sakaleṃdriyaḥ

Translation

Người bố thí gắn với điều dối trá, mê ngủ lười nhác và chìm trong tamas thì bị kể là hèn kém. Kẻ ấy—dẫu bề ngoài ‘thanh tịnh’ theo ba cách—vẫn sống ti tiện, tàn nhẫn và bị các căn thúc đẩy.
