पार्वती च पुनर्देवी पुत्रत्वे परिकल्प्य च । अशोकस्यांकुरं वार्भिरवर्द्धयत स्वादृतैः
pārvatī ca punardevī putratve parikalpya ca | aśokasyāṃkuraṃ vārbhiravarddhayata svādṛtaiḥ
Và nữ thần Pārvatī lại một lần nữa quyết định nhận (một hữu thể) làm con, rồi chăm bón mầm cây aśoka bằng dòng nước được gìn giữ, tưới tẩm cẩn trọng.
