Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 11

त्रैलोक्यदानवान्सर्वान्दग्धुं शक्तः क्षणादहम् । दुर्जस्तारकः किं तु मुक्त्वा सप्तदिनं शिशुम्

Transliteration

trailokyadānavānsarvāndagdhuṃ śaktaḥ kṣaṇādaham | durjastārakaḥ kiṃ tu muktvā saptadinaṃ śiśum

Translation

“Ta có thể trong khoảnh khắc thiêu rụi hết thảy các Dānava của ba cõi. Nhưng Tāraka khó khuất phục kia—sau khi thả đứa trẻ mới bảy ngày tuổi—vẫn là trường hợp đặc biệt.”
