चक्राहतः संयति दानवश्च पपात भूमौ प्रममार चापि । दैत्याश्च शेषा भृशशौकमापुः क्रोधं च केचित्पिपिषुर्भुजांश्च
cakrāhataḥ saṃyati dānavaśca papāta bhūmau pramamāra cāpi | daityāśca śeṣā bhṛśaśaukamāpuḥ krodhaṃ ca kecitpipiṣurbhujāṃśca
Bị bánh xe thần (chakra) đánh trúng giữa chiến trận, dānava ấy ngã xuống đất và chết. Những daitya còn lại chìm trong sầu thảm dữ dội—có kẻ vì phẫn nộ mà cắn chính cánh tay mình.
