वृद्धत्वे हि समश्राति नरो वै नात्र भविष्यति । तस्माद्देशे च काले च सुपात्रे विधिना नरः । शुभार्जितं प्रयुञ्जीत श्रद्धया शाठ्यवर्जितः
vṛddhatve hi samaśrāti naro vai nātra bhaviṣyati | tasmāddeśe ca kāle ca supātre vidhinā naraḥ | śubhārjitaṃ prayuñjīta śraddhayā śāṭhyavarjitaḥ
Khi tuổi già đến, con người chắc chắn suy tàn—không chút nghi ngờ. Vì vậy, đúng nơi đúng lúc, đối với người thọ nhận xứng đáng, người ta nên theo pháp mà dâng cúng/bố thí những gì đã kiếm được chân chính, với lòng tín tâm và không chút gian trá.
