महीनाम नदी च पृथिव्यां यानिकानिचित् । तीर्थानि तेषां सलिलसंभवं तज्जलं विदुः
mahīnāma nadī ca pṛthivyāṃ yānikānicit | tīrthāni teṣāṃ salilasaṃbhavaṃ tajjalaṃ viduḥ
Trên cõi đất này, mọi tīrtha (bến thánh) nào có—và cả dòng sông mang tên Mahī—hãy biết rằng nước của chúng đều phát sinh từ chính dòng nước thánh ấy.
