दुर्निवारा मनोवृत्तिर्यावत्सा न निवर्तते । किं वदंत्यपियोगस्य तावन्नेदीयसी कुतः

durnivārā manovṛttiryāvatsā na nivartate | kiṃ vadaṃtyapiyogasya tāvannedīyasī kutaḥ

Chừng nào những dao động bất an của tâm—khó bề chế ngự—chưa lắng xuống, thì còn nói gì về yoga? Khi ấy, làm sao yoga có thể ở ngay gần?
