अनंतो महिमा काश्याः कस्तं वर्णयितुं प्रभुः । विपत्तिमिच्छतो जंतोर्यत्रकर्णे जपः शिवः

Transliteration

anaṃto mahimā kāśyāḥ kastaṃ varṇayituṃ prabhuḥ | vipattimicchato jaṃtoryatrakarṇe japaḥ śivaḥ

Translation

Sự linh thiêng của Kāśī là vô tận—ai đủ năng lực để diễn tả? Vì tại đó, ngay trong phút hiểm nguy (lúc lâm chung), vào tai chúng sinh vẫn được thì thầm thần chú japa của Śiva để cứu độ.
