जीर्णं कमंडलुं दंडमुपवीताजिने अपि । अप्स्वेव तानि निक्षिप्य गृह्णीतान्यच्च मंत्रवत्
jīrṇaṃ kamaṃḍaluṃ daṃḍamupavītājine api | apsveva tāni nikṣipya gṛhṇītānyacca maṃtravat
Dẫu bình nước (kamaṇḍalu), gậy, dây thánh (upavīta) và da nai có bị mòn cũ, vị ấy vẫn nên đặt chúng vào nước, rồi thọ nhận vật thay thế khác, thực hiện cùng các chân ngôn đúng pháp.
