मातृमातृष्वसृस्वसृपितृस्वसृपुरःसराः । प्रथमं भिक्षणीयाः स्युरेतायाचन नो वदेत्

Transliteration

mātṛmātṛṣvasṛsvasṛpitṛsvasṛpuraḥsarāḥ | prathamaṃ bhikṣaṇīyāḥ syuretāyācana no vadet

Translation

Trước hết nên xin khất thực từ mẹ, dì bên mẹ, chị/em gái ruột, dì bên cha, và các bậc phụ nữ lớn tuổi đứng phía trước như người hộ trì. Với các vị ấy, khi đi xin ăn chớ thốt lời từ chối (nghĩa là đừng né tránh hay gạt đi).
