न तोयगृध्नून्न शिशून्नांतर्वर्त्नित्वलक्षणान् । स घातयति धर्मज्ञो जातिधर्मपराङ्मुखः
na toyagṛdhnūnna śiśūnnāṃtarvartnitvalakṣaṇān | sa ghātayati dharmajño jātidharmaparāṅmukhaḥ
Người hiểu dharma không giết kẻ khát nước, không giết con non, cũng không giết loài mang dấu hiệu mang thai; người ấy quay lưng với sự tàn bạo hèn kém, chỉ bị trói buộc bởi bản năng loài.
