वैराग्याद्गृहमुत्सृज्य गृहधर्मान्हृदि स्मरेत् । स भवेदुभयभ्रष्टो वानप्रस्थो न वा गृही
vairāgyādgṛhamutsṛjya gṛhadharmānhṛdi smaret | sa bhavedubhayabhraṣṭo vānaprastho na vā gṛhī
Nếu vì sự ly tham lầm lạc mà bỏ nhà, nhưng trong lòng vẫn nhớ thương và thèm muốn bổn phận đời gia thất, người ấy hư mất cả hai—chẳng phải vānaprastha chân thật, cũng chẳng phải gia chủ chân thật.
