व्यास उवाच । कलौ प्राप्ते द्विजाः सर्वे स्थानभ्रष्टा यतस्ततः । पक्षमुत्कलं ग्रहीष्यंति तथा स्युः पक्षपातिनः
vyāsa uvāca | kalau prāpte dvijāḥ sarve sthānabhraṣṭā yatastataḥ | pakṣamutkalaṃ grahīṣyaṃti tathā syuḥ pakṣapātinaḥ
Vyāsa nói: Khi thời Kali đã đến, hết thảy các dvija sẽ rơi khỏi địa vị thích đáng của mình, tản mác nơi này nơi khác. Họ sẽ nắm lấy phe phái, và vì thế trở thành kẻ thiên vị, đầy thành kiến.
