तर्पयेदक्षया तृप्तिः पितॄणां तस्य जायते । श्राद्धं चैव प्रकु र्वीत सक्तुभिः पयसा सह
tarpayedakṣayā tṛptiḥ pitṝṇāṃ tasya jāyate | śrāddhaṃ caiva praku rvīta saktubhiḥ payasā saha
Hãy dâng lễ tarpaṇa; khi ấy, sự thỏa mãn bất hoại sẽ sinh khởi cho các Pitṛ của người ấy. Lại nên cử hành śrāddha bằng saktu (bột lúa mạch rang) cùng với sữa.
