तिलपिण्याकपिंडेन तृप्तिं यास्यामहे पराम् । चतुर्द्दश्याममावास्यां तथा च पितृतर्पणम्

Transliteration

tilapiṇyākapiṃḍena tṛptiṃ yāsyāmahe parām | caturddaśyāmamāvāsyāṃ tathā ca pitṛtarpaṇam

Translation

Với piṇḍa làm từ bã mè (tilapiṇyāka), chúng ta sẽ đem lại sự thỏa mãn tối thượng cho các Pitṛ. Cũng vậy, nghi thức Pitṛ-tarpaṇa nên được cử hành vào ngày mười bốn và vào ngày amāvasyā (ngày sóc, trăng non).
