Transliteration

yadeṣāryapathaṃ hitvā jāramārgaratā purā | tena pāpena kenāpi durvṛttā durbhagāpi vā

Translation

Vì nàng bỏ con đường cao quý (ārya-patha), thuở trước lại ưa thích lối sống với tình nhân bất chính; bởi tội ấy, trong đời này nàng trở thành kẻ hạnh kiểm xấu và cũng lận đận số phận.
