त्वमेव मे गुरुर्ब्रह्मंस्त्वं माता त्वं पितासि च । उद्धरोद्धर मां दीनां त्वामेव शरणं गताम्
tvameva me gururbrahmaṃstvaṃ mātā tvaṃ pitāsi ca | uddharoddhara māṃ dīnāṃ tvāmeva śaraṇaṃ gatām
Hỡi Bà-la-môn, chỉ Ngài là bậc thầy (guru) của ta; Ngài là mẹ, và cũng là cha. Xin nâng đỡ ta, kẻ khốn cùng—ta chỉ đến nương nơi Ngài làm chốn quy y.
