यानि पापानि घोराणि जन्मांतरशतेषु मे । तेषां सर्वविनाशाय शिवपूजां समारभे

yāni pāpāni ghorāṇi janmāṃtaraśateṣu me | teṣāṃ sarvavināśāya śivapūjāṃ samārabhe

Bao tội lỗi ghê gớm của ta đã tích tụ qua hàng trăm đời quá khứ—để tiêu trừ trọn vẹn tất cả, nay ta khởi sự lễ thờ phụng đức Śiva.
