सिन्धो॑रिव प्राध्व॒ने शू॑घ॒नासो॒ वात॑प्रमियः पतयन्ति य॒ह्वाः । घृ॒तस्य॒ धारा॑ अरु॒षो न वा॒जी काष्ठा॑ भि॒न्दन्नू॒र्मिभि॒: पिन्व॑मानः

Transliteration

síndhor iva prādhváne śū́ghanāso vā́ta-pramiyáḥ patayanti yahvā́ḥ | ghṛtásya dhā́rā aruṣó ná vājī kā́ṣṭhā bhindánn ū́rmibhiḥ pínvamānaḥ ||

Translation

Như các dòng chảy của Sindhu trên lộ trình tiến tới, mũi dòng nhanh nhẹn, bị gió thúc đẩy, những đấng hùng lực lao vút đi. Các dòng ghṛta (bơ tinh luyện) — như chiến mã đỏ au — phá vỡ ranh giới, phồng lên cùng các làn sóng, rồi lao nhanh về phía trước.
