Sthala Purana: Kāśī is famed for granting both bhukti and mukti under Viśveśvara’s lordship; the verse explicitly names the dual fruit (bhukti-mukti), a hallmark of Kāśī-kṣetra theology in Purāṇic Śaiva traditions.

Significance: Frames Śiva as the giver of both worldly welfare and final release; in Śaiva Siddhānta, this points to anugraha (grace) culminating in mokṣa while allowing dharmic prosperity as ancillary fruit.
