शिवाग्निरिति संप्रोक्तस्तेन दग्धं शिवाग्निजम् । कपिलागोमयं पूर्वं केवलं गव्यमेव वा

Transliteration

śivāgniriti saṃproktastena dagdhaṃ śivāgnijam | kapilāgomayaṃ pūrvaṃ kevalaṃ gavyameva vā

Translation

Ngọn lửa ấy được tuyên xưng là “lửa của Śiva”; và vật gì bị thiêu trong lửa Śiva thì trở thành bhasma—tro thánh sinh từ lửa Śiva. Trước hết, nên đốt phân của bò cái màu nâu vàng (kapilā), hoặc nếu không thì chỉ dùng phân bò tinh sạch mà thôi.
