Praṇava-Māhātmya and the Twofold Mantra (Sūkṣma–Sthūla) in Śaiva Sādhanā
क्रियादिशिवकर्मभ्यः शिवज्ञानं प्रसाधयेत् । तद्दर्शनगताः सर्वे मुक्ता एव न संशयः
kriyādiśivakarmabhyaḥ śivajñānaṃ prasādhayet | taddarśanagatāḥ sarve muktā eva na saṃśayaḥ
Nhờ các pháp tu Śaiva—khởi đầu từ nghi lễ và hành trì—người ta nên khéo thành tựu tri kiến về Śiva. Tất cả ai đã nhập vào trực kiến ấy (về Śiva) đều thật sự giải thoát; điều này không nghi ngờ.

Significance: Generalized Siddhānta claim: Śaiva kriyā (ritual discipline) matures into Śiva-jñāna; darśana (direct realization) is liberative by Śiva’s grace.
Role: liberating
It states a Shaiva Siddhanta-style progression: disciplined Śaiva action (kriyā) matures into Śiva-jñāna, and the fruit of that realization—Śiva-darśana—is moksha.
Śiva-kriyā includes Saguna worship such as Linga-pūjā; through such devoted practice the devotee becomes fit for Śiva’s grace, culminating in direct experience (darśana) and liberation.
Regular Śaiva kriyā—Linga worship with mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), along with purity disciplines like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa where prescribed—aimed at ripening into contemplation and Śiva-jñāna.
