Praṇava-Māhātmya and the Twofold Mantra (Sūkṣma–Sthūla) in Śaiva Sādhanā

भूवायुकनकार्णोद्योःशब्दाद्याश्च तथा दश । आशान्वयेदशपुनः प्रवृत्ता इति कथ्यते

bhūvāyukanakārṇodyoḥśabdādyāśca tathā daśa | āśānvayedaśapunaḥ pravṛttā iti kathyate

Đất, gió, agni (lửa/vàng), nước và ánh sáng (hư không/không gian), cùng với mười yếu tố bắt đầu từ âm thanh—được nói là thành mười. Lại nữa, một nhóm mười khác khởi lên do liên hệ với các phương hướng (āśā), như vậy được tuyên thuyết.
