Pārthiva-pratimā Pūjā-vidhāna — Procedure for Worship of an Earthen Icon
भं वृद्धिं गच्छतीत्यर्थाद्भगः प्रकृतिरुच्यते । प्राकृतैः शब्दमात्राद्यैः प्राकृतेंद्रियभोजनात्
bhaṃ vṛddhiṃ gacchatītyarthādbhagaḥ prakṛtirucyate | prākṛtaiḥ śabdamātrādyaiḥ prākṛteṃdriyabhojanāt
Vì âm tiết “bha” hàm nghĩa “điều tăng trưởng và lan rộng”, nên từ “bhaga” được nói là Prakṛti—Tự Nhiên nguyên sơ. Nó được gọi như vậy vì được cấu thành bởi các yếu tố vi tế tự nhiên, khởi từ âm thanh chỉ là tanmātra; và vì nó là cảnh giới thọ hưởng của các căn tự nhiên (vật chất).
