The sages (Munis) of Naimiṣāraṇya
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Umā
Role: teaching
It frames Umā (Śiva’s Śakti) as the sovereign power behind manifestation and wisdom, prompting inquiry into how divine knowledge (Sarasvatī) arises through Śakti—central to Shaiva understanding of grace and revelation.
In Śaiva worship, Śiva as Pati is approached along with His Śakti; this verse highlights Umā’s role in the divine economy, supporting Saguna devotion where the Liṅga is honored together with the presence of Śakti and divine knowledge.
The verse suggests śravaṇa (devotional listening) and inquiry into tattva; a practical takeaway is to chant the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” while contemplating Śiva-Śakti unity as the source of wisdom and right speech.
