Kṛṣṇādi-Śivabhaktoddhāraṇa & Śiva-māhātmya-varṇana
Deliverance of Krishna and other devotees; Description of Shiva’s Greatness
सनत्कुमार उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा तमाह भगवान्भवः । सर्वं भविष्यतीत्येवं पुनस्स प्राह शूलधृक्
sanatkumāra uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā tamāha bhagavānbhavaḥ | sarvaṃ bhaviṣyatītyevaṃ punassa prāha śūladhṛk
Sanatkumāra nói: Nghe lời ấy, Đức Thế Tôn Bhava (Śiva) liền ngỏ lời với người kia. Đấng cầm Tam Xoa lại phán: “Như vậy, mọi sự ắt sẽ thành tựu đúng như thế.”
Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It highlights Śiva as Pati (the sovereign Lord) whose compassionate assurance steadies devotees and confirms that events unfold under divine order, supporting faith and surrender.
By naming Śiva as Bhava and Śūladhṛk, the verse emphasizes approachable Saguna aspects—forms and epithets through which devotees worship, trust, and receive grace, a foundation for Linga-bhakti.
A practical takeaway is śaraṇāgati (surrender) supported by japa of the Panchākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—cultivating trust in Śiva’s guidance when facing uncertainty.
