Svagati-varṇana
Description of the Supreme State / One’s True Attainment
यथाकामसुखं तिष्ठ नोत्कण्ठां कर्तुमर्हसि । सर्वं प्रपूर्णतां यातु चिंतितं नात्र संशयः
yathākāmasukhaṃ tiṣṭha notkaṇṭhāṃ kartumarhasi | sarvaṃ prapūrṇatāṃ yātu ciṃtitaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ
Hãy an trú an lạc theo điều ngươi mong muốn; chớ để lòng khắc khoải ưu tư. Mọi điều ngươi đã suy niệm ắt sẽ đạt đến viên mãn—về điều ấy không hề nghi ngờ.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
It teaches śaraṇāgati (refuge) in Shiva as Pati: anxiety and impatient longing are to be relinquished, because fulfillment ultimately ripens through Shiva’s grace and right timing.
In Saguna worship—especially Linga-upāsanā—the devotee approaches Shiva as a living, responsive Lord. This verse reflects that relationship: the worshipper rests in faith, trusting Shiva to bring the sought good (spiritual or rightful worldly) to completion.
Practice steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with calmness, avoiding agitation; in worship, maintain niścaya (firm conviction) and offer prayers without impatience—letting the fruit arise through Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
