Śiva–Arjuna Yuddha and the Subjugation of Pride (Śiva-parīkṣā)
शिव उवाच । हे पार्थ पाण्डवश्रेष्ठ प्रसन्नोस्मि वरं वृणु । प्रहारैस्ताडनैस्तेऽद्य पूजनम्मानितम्मया
śiva uvāca | he pārtha pāṇḍavaśreṣṭha prasannosmi varaṃ vṛṇu | prahāraistāḍanaiste'dya pūjanammānitammayā
Śiva phán: “Hỡi Pārtha, bậc ưu tú nhất trong các Pāṇḍava, Ta đã hoan hỷ. Hãy chọn một ân huệ. Hôm nay, nhờ những đòn đánh của ngươi, sự cúng dường của ngươi đã được Ta chấp nhận và tôn vinh.”
