उपमन्युकुमारस्य क्षीरार्थ-प्रार्थना तथा शिवप्रसाद-निबन्धनम् | Upamanyu’s Longing for Milk and the Doctrine of Shiva’s Grace
अक्षया बान्धवाश्चैव कुलं गोत्रं च ते सदा । भविष्यति द्विजश्रेष्ठ मयि भक्तिश्च शाश्वती
akṣayā bāndhavāścaiva kulaṃ gotraṃ ca te sadā | bhaviṣyati dvijaśreṣṭha mayi bhaktiśca śāśvatī
“Quyến thuộc của con sẽ không suy giảm; dòng tộc và gotra của con sẽ mãi trường tồn. Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng lưỡng sinh, lòng sùng kính đối với Ta cũng sẽ vĩnh cửu.”
