हिरण्यनेत्रस्य तपः — Hiraṇyanetra’s Austerity and the Boon
शिव उवाच । यद्यस्मि रुद्रस्तव किं मया स्यात्किमर्थमेवं वदसीति मिथ्या । शृणु प्रभावं मम दैत्यनाथ न्याय्यं न वक्तुं वचनं त्वयैवम्
śiva uvāca | yadyasmi rudrastava kiṃ mayā syātkimarthamevaṃ vadasīti mithyā | śṛṇu prabhāvaṃ mama daityanātha nyāyyaṃ na vaktuṃ vacanaṃ tvayaivam
Shiva nói: “Nếu quả thật ta là Rudra của ngươi, thì ta cần phải làm gì? Tại sao ngươi lại nói như vậy—một cách giả dối? Hỡi chúa tể của các Daitya, hãy nghe về uy quyền của ta. Thật không thích hợp khi ngươi thốt ra những lời như thế này.”
