दक्षयज्ञ-प्रसङ्गे देवतानां आश्वासनं तथा दण्डविधानम् | Consolation of the Devas and the Ordinance of Consequences in the Dakṣa-Yajña Episode
अनुग्रहः कृतस्ते हि दंडव्याजेन शंकर । खलोहं मूढधीर्देव ज्ञातं तत्त्वं मया न ते
anugrahaḥ kṛtaste hi daṃḍavyājena śaṃkara | khalohaṃ mūḍhadhīrdeva jñātaṃ tattvaṃ mayā na te
Ôi Śaṅkara, quả thật Ngài đã ban ân sủng cho con dưới dáng vẻ của hình phạt. Con đúng là kẻ xấu xa, lạy Chúa, trí hiểu mê mờ; con chưa từng biết chân lý bản thể (tattva) của Ngài.
