The verse highlights maryādā (sacred decorum) and vinaya (humility): even exalted beings approach the Divine Śakti (Satī) with reverence, indicating that devotion and respectful conduct are integral to Shaiva dharma.
Satī represents Śiva’s Saguna-Śakti—His manifest, approachable power. Honoring Satī with reverence supports the Shaiva understanding that devotion to Śiva is naturally accompanied by reverence to His Śakti, which also undergirds Linga worship as the sacred presence of Pati with Śakti.
The immediate takeaway is praṇāma and vinaya as a daily sādhana—begin worship with salutations and a bowed mind. This can be paired with calm japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate humility and devotional focus.
