It highlights that worldly generation and prosperity do not arise merely from personal effort; creation must align with higher divine order. From a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, it hints at the dependence of all activity (kriyā) on the Lord (Pati) who enables fruition.
Though Shiva is not named here, the Sati Khanda’s narrative frames cosmic functioning as ultimately upheld by Rudra-Shiva. Linga/Saguna worship emphasizes surrender to the Lord who empowers creation, sustenance, and the results of actions.
The takeaway is to pair effort with devotion and alignment to Shiva’s will—e.g., daily japa of the Panchakshara mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) seeking anugraha (grace) for success in dharma and inner growth.
