It presents Devī (Satī/Śakti) in a saguna, worshipable form—radiant, compassionate, and powerful—showing that grace (anugraha) flows through the Divine Mother who is inseparable from Śiva in Shaiva Siddhanta.
While the Liṅga signifies Śiva’s transcendent reality, this verse highlights the accessible, manifest (saguna) dimension through Śakti—supporting devotional worship where Śiva is approached together with His power as Devī.
Dhyāna (meditative visualization) of Devī’s four-armed, lion-seated form with a boon-bestowing hand can be used before japa—especially alongside pañcākṣara devotion to Śiva ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and reverent pūjā.
