Hymn to Devī Yogānidrā and the Manifestation of Caṇḍikā

Cosmic Event: emergence of guṇas as the seed of vikāra (manifestation)
It teaches that Devī-Śakti operates as the immanent power behind all change through the three guṇas, yet remains transcendent—pointing the seeker toward liberation by recognizing the Divine as both within nature and beyond it.
Saguna worship (including the Liṅga) engages the Divine as present in manifested qualities, but the verse reminds devotees that Śiva-Śakti ultimately surpasses all guṇas—so ritual devotion matures into realization of the transcendental Pati beyond attributes.
Meditate on Śiva-Śakti as both the power within all states (sattva-rajas-tamas) and the witness beyond them; japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with bhasma (tripuṇḍra) supports this guṇa-transcending contemplation.
