Sthala Purana: The site’s living tradition is affirmed: it continues to be worshipped through diverse regulated procedures and recurring festivals for attainment of desired fruits.

Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It affirms that Shiva’s worship remains living and effective in the world: through devotion aligned with proper discipline (vidhi), the devotee gains desired results and is gradually purified toward liberation.
By highlighting worship through many “prescribed modes,” it supports Saguna upasana—such as Linga-puja with mantra, offerings, and festivals—through which the formless reality is approached via a sacred form.
Perform regular Shiva-puja according to vidhi and observe mahotsavas (e.g., Mahashivratri) with mantra-japa—especially the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and disciplined offerings.
