Brahma
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Kālī
Role: destructive
It highlights attentive darśana (reverent observation) of a divine manifestation—training the seeker’s discernment to perceive the Lord’s śakti and auspicious signs rather than reacting with fear or confusion.
The verse supports Saguna-upāsanā: carefully contemplating the manifested attributes (forms, marks, gestures) of Śiva and Śakti. Such focused contemplation steadies devotion and prepares the mind for deeper realization of Śiva as Pati beyond form.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna with viśeṣataḥ—single-pointed, detailed contemplation during worship (pūjā): gaze steadily on the chosen form (or liṅga), recite the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and cultivate calm, observant awareness.
